I am renting a unit at Blk 274 ,while looking for a new flat to buy. I have witnessed numerous arguments from the captioned unit. Apparently, there were many stolen objects in that unit including the set of sofa in the living room as I heard one party claiming that police report would be made to claim back the things. The owner of the house did not deny she has taken the sofa and claimed that there is nothing the other party can do to take back the sofa.

2 weeks ago I saw 2 men wearing ERA pass going to her unit with potential buyers.
Isn't it unfair for buyers like us who will pay for the sofa as furnishing too? If I have bought the house & sometime down the road police were to come and investigate about the stolen objects in the house, I would be going through inconvenience. I would feel cheated as I have bought the house and paid for the furnishings including the sofa.
