Hello,
I share your feelings. There are millions of other people trying to do the same thing using the same plan. How is it possible to stand out and make a sale when there are millions of other people advertising the same product or service using the same ad companies. I know I'm sounding a bit negative but thats the truth. Maybe 20 years ago someone could have made a hugh amount of money with these businesses but I fear that the market may be saturated. I guess I wasn't much help. I hope we can both find an answer. Best of luck to you.

Hello,
Its amazing how many people are in the same boat. here is my sugestions, Don't try to convert others to your program, tell each other what your business is, get to know each other and show trust, pass the other's information on and have them mention your name, this will build the trust.
I am like all of you,in the same boat. These sugestions are ideas I have thought about for a long time. I have made these to some others in our field without results.
This is not to say it can't be done if we work together. After all we each have products we could all use.
Any one wishing to contact me personally can do so at
e.g.gamm@comcast.net
Have a nice day

Have you tried any offline advertising, like perhaps free
business cards that you can give out. Or maybe flyers,
magnetic signs for your car, these are just a few examples that might help. And Vista Print is having sale
right now.

But we conduct our business online.we are in china, but our main customers are in America, Europe,Oceania and the other countries in Asia. I guess offline advertising does little help for it.
What do you think about it?

I agree with Emil - we can stand out by NOT selling. Just by sharing with others and being helpful will draw people to you without even trying and there are free resources available to help you market online in all kinds of places. Feel free to shoot me an email at viola1968@gmail.com and I can send some stuff your way.
Cheers!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and website.
I understand that everyone is looking for ways to gain more website traffic to sell their products. This isn't necessarily the perfect answer but maybe it will help. I recently joined a new social networking site (Free to join) that also has a local and international Business Opportunity Directory (also free to post in) wherein you can promote your products and websites.
The other neat thing about this social website is that they will pay you to login to your own webpage - they are paying 80% of advertising revenue to active members. It's just growing but I think it's a good opportunity to get into at this time. If you'd like to learn more please email mkvirtualadmin@gmail.com
Thanks for listening.

I, too, have a very limited budget for advertising. I have tried a lot of various advertising methods and that's part of why my advertising budget is low and the returns were not cost effective. I bought a course called Building On A Budget (about $30) to see what it had to offer. I did gain some insight from it and was surprised at some of the things. In fact, they actually gave me a website (http://dasvar.buildingonabudget.com, this is for reference only and not meant as an advertisment here)for the product too which has given a handful of dollars. I don't push it but it is on my website. What I have found from this and others is that word of mouth is still the most viable method of advertising, hands down. What most of us are guilty of is being a "secret agent" and not letting people know wehat we do when the opportunity presents itself.
My latest adventure in network marketing is proving that. I'm pumped about the product in phase one and how it can help kids. I'm just talking about it- what it does, what research has proven, what it can used for, etc and I've actually had sales and sales reps come on board for this "crusade". In fact, I simply ran the idea by a top leader of an organization, last night, to garner his opinion on the product and now I get to put together a presentation for his organization. I wasn't trying to sell, just sharing the busines concept of a game and wanting his opinion. Good Business and Good Luck

I know how difficult it can be getting something for nothing, especially when people have to make a living. That still does not change the fact that i have next to no advertising budget. So my question is, "How does someone advertise their web company effectively with little to no money?" I use free advertising resources, but my traffic seems to have plateud. I need to find that one thing that will gain my business the recognition that i need so that i can start actually generating some revenue. Any ideas?
